Tacos with Protein Avocado Creme



Taco Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey

  • 1/2 yellow onion

  • 1/2 cup black beans

  • 1 4oz can diced green chilies

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning

  • taco shells or tortillas

+ any other desired toppings (ex: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, etc)

Avocado Creme Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado

  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1/2 lime

  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 cup milk or milk substitute (I used cashew milk)


Taco Directions:

  1. dice yellow onion

  2. place a frying pan over medium heat

  3. add onion and ground turkey. Brown Turkey until fully cooked.

  4. Keep over heat and add diced chilies and black beans

  5. stir until evenly heated and combined

  6. remove from heat

Avocado Creme Directions:

  1. peel and remove the pit of the avocado

  2. place into a food processor

  3. add yogurt

  4. process until smooth

  5. add milk, cumin, and the juice of the lime

  6. process until smooth

Assemble your tacos, finishing with a drizzle of avocado creme!
