Protein Molten Mug Cake

This is the best treat for when you need something sweet! With whole grains, protein, and some healthy fats from the chocolate hummus (trust me its amazing), this satisfies that need for something sweet while providing you with nutrition to feed your goals too.




Ingredients
  • ¼ cup oat flour

  • 3 tablespoons flour (I used a gluten free flour substitute)

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ scoop vanilla protein

  • ¼ cup egg whites

  • 1 tablespoon sugar free jello mix, honey, sugar, or other sweetener

  • 2 teaspoons sprinkles

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate hummus

  • ½ cup water


Directions:
  1. in a mug, combine oat flour, flour, protein powder, baking powder, and sweetener.

  2. Add egg whites and water ( you may need more water depending on the protein powder you used). Sir to combine

  3. stir in sprinkles

  4. using a spoon, make a crater in the center of your cake batter

  5. drop chocolate hummus into this crater and cover with cake batter (I use a spoon to scoop from the sides of the mug over the top of the hummus

  6. microwave for 2 minutes
