Getting protein into your breakfast doesn't have to mean a protein shake or eggs. Here is a fun way to incorporate it into your morning!
½ cup oat flour
¼ cup almond flour
½ cup flour or gluten free flour substitute
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup water
2 tablespoons honey
½ cup blueberries
In a bowl add oat flour, almond flour, flour, protein powder and baking powder. Stir to combine.
Add eggs, water, honey and cinnamon to dry ingredients. Mix to combine. (you may have too add more or less water depending on the type of protein powder you use).
stir in blueberries.
spray both halves of your waffle iron with nonstick spray. Add batter.
cook each side and set aside to cool slightly
