Pina Colada Oatmeal

This is a perfect post workout oatmeal recipe. Between the Protein and Carbs for muscle repair, and the electrolytes from the coconut water, this breakfast is a great way to bounce back from your training session and tackle the rest of your day!


  • ½ cup oats

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • ¼ cup pineapple

  • 2 tbsp. coconut

  • Greek yogurt (I used Vanilla Coconut flavor)


  1. add oats and coconut water in a microwave safe bowl, microwave for 2 minutes

  2. stir in protein powder until well incorporated, add more coconut water as needed to desired thickness

  3. add coconut and pineapple, stir together

  4. top with Greek yogurt

Optional: place more coconut and cut pineapple on top. (I also enjoy a sprinkle of chia seeds with this recipe)

Benefits of Coconut Water Post- Workout

- Coconut water is an excellent alternative to sports drinks like Gatorade or Powerade. It provides important electrolytes like potassium, sodium, and manganese without all the added sugars and sodium of a processed sports drink
