Oatmeal Baked Pear

This is definitely one of my favorite recipes so far. Pears are one of my favorite fruits and I am a huge sucker for fall flavors. The combo of fruit and these warm and cozy fall spices is just too good!




Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pear

  • ¼ cup rolled oats

  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • dash of nutmeg

  • dash of ginger


Directions:

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Wash Pear

  3. Slice in half from top to bottom

  4. using a spoon, scoop out the center of the pear, including the seeds

  5. in a small bowl, mix honey, oats, pecans and spices until well combined

  6. spoon oat mixture into the centers of each pear half

  7. bake for 20 min
