Beef & Brocolli

A healthy rendition of one of my favorite dishes. Using quality sirloin and liquid aminos means this meal provides a big punch of protein. It is also deceptively easy to prepare!


  • 2 cups of rice

  • 1 Sirloin Tip

  • 3 cups broccoli

  • 11/4 cup water

  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1/3 cup liquid aminos or soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons honey


  1. Cook rice according to package directions, or in a rice cooker

  2. steam broccoli

  3. slice Sirloin into thin strips

  4. heat a frying pan over medium heat

  5. When pan is hot, add sirloin strips

  6. sear both sides and remove from pan, repeat with the rest of the meat

  7. In a bowl, combine 1 cup water, liquid aminos (or soy sauce), ginger, garlic, and honey

  8. in another bowl, combine 1/4 cup water with cornstarch. mix until smooth

  9. add cornstarch and water to sauce mixture

  10. pour sauce mix into frying pan and heat until it begins to boil and thicken

  11. add sirloin and broccoli to sauce and mix to combine

  12. serve over cooked rice

  13. optional: sprinkle with sesame seeds or hemp hearts
